- Position Title: Director Software Engineering (Data Engineering) Department / Function: Product and Engineering Reports to: Vice President Location: Noida Position Summary: The Director of Software Engineering (Data Engineering) is responsible for setting the vision and direction for the data engineering organization while ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals and customer needs. This role will involve developing and maintaining a high-performance engineering culture that fosters innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include overseeing the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of data products and platforms across multiple domains and technologies. The Director will also establish best practices for software engineering, quality assurance, security, and reliability, and will mentor engineering managers and teams. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Develop data platform strategies to achieve high availability, timely, high-quality data ingestion processes for the enterprise. Translate strategic business plans into actionable data acquisition objectives. Lead product development initiatives to drive revenue and improve efficiency in alignment with business strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create a cohesive product and technology roadmap. Work with data operations & IT operations teams to ensure 24x7x365 enterprise support. Build strong relationships with engineering, product, IT, and operations teams. Establish best practices for data architecture, data management, and master data integration. Develop metrics to provide shared insights into engineering and operations functions. Mentor and guide engineering teams in technology evaluation and achieving business goals. Qualification & Skill Requirements: 15+ years of experience in software and data engineering. 5+ years in leadership roles with direct and indirect management of teams. Experience building data ingestion pipelines and utilizing modern data technologies (e.g., Data Lake, Delta Lake, Databricks, Scala, etc.). Experience with cloud platforms, with Azure being a plus. Bachelors degree in computer science, Mathematics, Information Technology, or related engineering disciplines. Proven ability to formulate and execute strategic visions with detailed action plans. Strong financial planning and budgeting skills. Expertise in hiring and retaining top data and software engineering talent. Experience in agile/lean project management methodologies. Familiarity with healthcare revenue cycle, EMRs, practice management systems, FHIR, HL7, or HIPAA is preferred but not required.,
