Job Description

Job Title : Software QA Lead Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Software QA Lead to lead our quality assurance efforts, ensuring high-quality software delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, leadership skills, and experience with Agile methodologies. Responsibilities Lead a team of QA engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies and plans Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and design Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools Conduct manual and exploratory testing to ensure high-quality software delivery Identify and report defects, track and verify defect resolution Develop and maintain testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and new tools Requirements 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on leadership and team management Strong expertise in testing frameworks, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, TDD, BDD) Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Experience with cloud-based testing platforms and CI/CD pipelines Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field Good To Have Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) Knowledge of performance testing, security testing, and accessibility testing Certification in software testing or quality assurance (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes) (ref:hirist.tech),
