Job Description

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer with a strong background in both UI and API test automation, particularly in an Agile environment. The candidate will be responsible for creating and managing test plans, defect management, and ensuring traceability throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will also drive standard ETQP metrics, facilitate demos, and ensure the overall quality of the project delivery, with a strong focus on insurance domain knowledge. Key Responsibilities: Create detailed test plans, manage defects, and ensure traceability across project deliverables. Drive standard ETQP metrics within the project, ensuring quality at all stages. Provide demos of completed user stories and automation scripts. Drive and manage defect triage meetings. Collaborate with the project teams to ensure quality delivery throughout the project/product lifecycle. Develop and execute test cases for various delivery components. Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) when required. Analyze test results, report defects, and track them until closure using XRay. Contribute to Agile ceremonies, identify process gaps, and help define and streamline processes. Mandatory Skills: 6+ years of overall experience. 5+ years of hands-on experience in UI Test Automation using WDIO/Typescript or similar tools. 4+ years of relevant experience in API Test Automation using Postman or Axios/Jest or similar tools. Proficient in Agile Scrum with Jira, test planning, execution, and defect management. Strong experience in contributing to Agile ceremonies and improving processes.
