- Job Title: QA Lead From Salary: 20 Lakh(s) INR per Annum To Salary: 30 Lakh(s) INR per Annum Industry: Information Technology Position Type: Permanent Role: Software Engineer/ Programmer Required Education: B.E/B.Tech Work Location: Thane East Description QA Lead Mission As a Quality Assurance (QA) Lead, you will work collaboratively with the Product and Software Engineering teams to ensure a high-quality product to customers. This is a hands-on role, where you will drive the QA team to ensure that best practices related to software testing are followed, whilst leading by example to develop and maintain our automated testing frameworks. With a continuous improvement mindset, you will be accountable for ensuring that the QA function is able to effectively identify any issues related to reliability and performance within the clients SaaS product. Responsibilities Responsible for developing and maintaining testing strategies and capabilities including manual and automation testing Plan and set the direction of the automation and manual testing focusing on process improvement Responsible for coordinating, organizing, and delivering all test activities within the QA team Development and execution of automated tests, and continuously maintaining automated test cases Collaborate with product team and software engineering to ensure that the test automation framework obtains maximum product coverage using Cucumber (Jasmine Automation knowledge will be added advantage) Management and execution of manual tests where test automation is not technically feasible Enhancement of performance testing capabilities to ensure that the application under test meets defined benchmarks Load Testing experience will be an added advantage Leading root-cause analysis and corrective action activities relating to post-release defects Qualification 8 years experience in software quality/testing role including 3 years experience leading a team Critical and analytical thinking and ability to perform hands-on manual and automation testing in an Agile development framework Bachelors and/or masters degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related technical discipline Experience developing, building, and running automated test frameworks (exposure to CI/CD toolsets such as Gitlab is a big plus) while championing quality and taking ownership of issues in this space Proven experience leading high performing teams - mentoring and coaching on best practice Excellent test analysis skills. Able to identify simple patterns and trends. Investigates problems and opportunities in existing processes and contributes to recommending solutions to these Experience with automated testing frameworks/tools such as Selenium / Cucumber/Jasmine,
