- Job Summary The Tester cum Technical Assistant will be responsible for both ensuring the quality and performance of software applications through rigorous testing and providing technical support to maintain and troubleshoot systems. This hybrid role involves performing manual and automated testing, managing technical documentation, assisting with system setup and maintenance, and supporting the technical team in various capacities. Key Responsibilities Testing Responsibilities: Test Planning: Develop and document test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and specifications. Manual Testing: Execute manual test cases to validate functionality, usability, and compatibility of applications across different environments. Automation Testing: Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Test Complete, or other relevant tools. Defect Reporting: Identify, document, and track software defects and issues. Work with the development team to resolve these issues. Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing using tools like JMeter to ensure applications meet performance criteria and handle load effectively. Test Reporting: Prepare detailed test reports and communicate findings to stakeholders, including test coverage, defect status, and risk analysis. Technical Assistance Responsibilities Technical Support: Provide technical support to users by diagnosing and resolving software, and network issues. Escalate complex issues to higher-level technical staff as needed. System Maintenance: Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems. Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance. Documentation Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Training and Support: Offer training and guidance to staff on technical systems and tools. Ensure users are proficient in using applications and systems. Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative tasks related to technical operations, such as inventory management, procurement of technical supplies, and coordinating with vendors. Qualifications Education: Associates degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Bachelors degree preferred in engineering. Experience: fresher with 3-6 month of experience. Technical Skills: Proficiency with testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JMeter), bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla), and technical support tools. Strong problem-solving skills and troubleshooting ability. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical users. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work independently. Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in testing, documentation, and technical support.,
