Our IS&T (Information Services and Technology) department provides all the required technology and operational support services to run our business here in BMC! We have over 200 servers on premises to support production, disaster recovery, databases, applications and over 1000 servers in Lab environment. IS&T is transformational not only for BMC but also for the customer experience, because we give a 360 degrees view to the customer about the products they should know, opportunities in the pipeline, and any service issues outstanding with the customer. Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success: IS&T Project Manager will be part of the PMO organization which delivers valuable project management and supports our team of Project Managers whose objective is to deliver Programs and Projects on time, within budget, and with the highest quality possible. Our mission is to provide value-driven project management that affords IS&T the ability to adapt and manage transitions toward service delivery. This Position Has Overall Project Management Responsibility For Successful Initiation, Planning, Design, Execution, Monitoring, Controlling And Closure Of a Project, Meeting The Desired Objectives. Typically, The Project Manager Is Expected To Provide project management expertise and leadership in the execution of complex IT application and infrastructure projects. IS&T PMO manages the development and implementation of a company's services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing projects. Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success: Manage the initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of IT projects, ensuring alignment with desired objectives. Provide expert project management leadership for complex IT application and infrastructure projects, fostering adherence to established processes and methodologies. Drive organizational change where necessary to optimize program and project execution. Manage project schedules and budgets, directing resources effectively to achieve project objectives. Coordinate cross-team dependencies and activities to ensure project completion within defined constraints. Collect and analyze project metrics data, communicating regularly with stakeholders, including project sponsors and senior leadership, to provide transparency, regular updates, and insights. Facilitate project communications and meetings, maintaining comprehensive project execution logs and documentation. Manage and maintain the project execution logs associated for Risks, Actions, Issues, Key Decisions and Meeting Minutes Establish project management principles, processes and artefacts as it relates to systems development in a global development environment. Drive appropriate organizational change and team mentoring as required to ensure the successful program/project execution. Plan and direct schedules, monitor budget/spending for the project from initiation through delivery Manage and direct the assigned project resources to best meet the project objectives Understand cross team dependencies and organize the activities ensuring completion of the project within the constraints of budget and schedule, meeting the agreed scope and quality requirements Collect project metrics data (e.g. completed and in-progress work, schedule and cost variances, resource health, risks and issues etc.) and other project specific information and regularly communicate it to the project stakeholders Manage project communications and meetings (Daily Stand Up Meetings, Project Reviews, AdHoc Requests) Manage or maintain (in SharePoint) the project execution logs associated for Risks, Actions, Issues, Key Decisions and Meeting Minutes Communicate regularly with the project sponsor and the team To ensure youre set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience: 7 to 9 years of experience in IT Project Management Strong stakeholder management skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Experience of working in shared resources environment with teams based across different time zones Knowledge of Planview Portfolios (or any other enterprise PPM tool) for overall project tracking, Jira for tracking Agile development and SharePoint as collaboration tool Solid decision making, organizational and prioritization skills Good understanding of budgeting, estimation and project financial management, timecard management Change/Release management PMP, ACP or similar certification with good understanding of project management and methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile Experience of delivering Infrastructure projects will be an advantage Our commitment to you!
