Job Description

    Role Description As an Engineering Manager, you are expected to meet the project schedule through issuance and approval of various design deliverables, project documentation, manage budgets, and supervise multiple teams with a considerable time with client. Primary work location will be at an execution center in India with a planned meeting with end client abroad. Your responsibilities includes the following but not limited to: Technical Expertise: Has an extensive know how of detail engineering in oil and gas industry for gas reinjection and receiprocating and centrifugal compressors, Water treatment plants, Well pads and various Pipelines. Minimum 15+ Years of Experience for EPC Projects Setup & manage Engineering office for Large EPC Projects Possess strong technical know-how for the process and mechanical engineering from early career in phased manner. Submission and approval of engineering documentation on timely manner as per agreed schedule Ensure the quality of deliverables as per project requirements. Review and approval of vendor documentation on timely manner to keep aligned with project schedule. Evaluate technical feasibility, propose solutions, and address engineering challenges. Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and best practices. Project Planning and Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute engineering projects. Develop project schedules, allocate resources, and ensure adherence to timelines. Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams. Budget Management: Manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and optimize resource allocation. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety. Team Supervision: Lead and supervise engineering teams, including design, procurement, and construction. Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment. Risk Management: Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards. Address any unforeseen issues promptly to minimize project delays. Quality Assurance: Implement quality control processes to maintain deliverables are correct and complete Review engineering designs, specifications, and deliverables. Monitor project progress and address deviations from quality standards. Communication and Collaboration: Liaise with clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution. Communicate project status, milestones, and challenges effectively. Collaborate with other departments (such as procurement, finance, and legal) to achieve project goals. Leadership and Decision-Making: Make informed decisions based on technical knowledge, cost considerations, and project priorities. Motivate and inspire teams to achieve project objectives. Handle conflicts and resolve issues promptly. Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular progress reports for management and stakeholders. Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and contracts. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices. Encourage innovation and efficiency within the engineering teams. Qualifications Strong Engineering Management skills with over 15-20 years of experience Experience in leading and managing teams and setting up an engineering team from scratch for the organization Implementation of various software required for smooth execution of project Strong Project Management skills & Integration skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field Experience in the oil and gas industry is mandatory Strong knowledge of International codes including international standards Prior Experience with Iraqi projects will be a plus,
