- Position Title: Security Consultant Location: Nagpur, MH, India Position Type: Full-Time Position Duration:Permanent Job Description: Job Description: The Security consultant will be responsible for a number of functions associated with IT security - from conducting reviews of software security, through to updating information security policies. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the windows system. They will coordinate with Manager IT to understand goals and objectives. Security consultants are the individuals who consult with businesses to point out the businesss potential security weaknesses, develop security policies and minimize risk to computer systems. The position reports to the Manager IT. Key Responsibilities Conduct information security management reviews and information security management system (ISMS) assessments. Ensure technical implementation and business processes are aligned. Lead the design, implementation, operation and maintenance of security management systems. Participate in the creation, review and update of information security policies Provide complex technical advice, recommendations and consultancy on networks, infrastructure, products and services supplied. Provide or assist with implementation documentation Ongoing project management. Responsibility for documenting the configuration of the system. Troubleshooting any reported problems. Perform action plan against alert emails. Manages and maintains backups. Monitors and improves system performance through kernel and file system tuning. Provide Windows related support to US users. Provide assistance in shift as team works 24x7. Qualification/Requirements 5+ years in IT-Software/Software Services. Bachelors degree in Engineering or Sciences or equivalent. Experience in information security management and related functions such as IT Risk Management. Ability to align information security policies with business requirements.
