Job Description
- GlobalLogic looking for an enthusiastic Java Developer to join our product support team. In this role, you will utilize your Java development expertise to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for our customers, support the implementation of product features, and contribute to product optimization. You will work closely with cross functional teams to ensure our products meet customer needs and enhance the user experience. Designation: Engineer (Product Support) Experience: 2+ years Work Location: Gurgaon Required Skills: Java Developer (Experience in AEM development is preferred but not a mandate) What are we looking for 2+ years of experience in Java Development Strong knowledge of web technologies, particularly JAVA/J2EE (e.g., coding, garbage collection tuning, heap dump & thread dump analysis), and JavaScript. Expertise in Content Management Systems (CMS) and website architecture. Proficiency in HTML, DHTML, CSS, XML, AJAX, JQuery, Apache, and IIS. Working knowledge of various operating systems, including Windows, UNIX, LINUX, and Solaris. Strong communication skills, both oral and written, in English Must be flexible to work from office in 24/7 shifts What will you do Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Use Java development skills to diagnose and resolve product-related issues reported by customers. Provide ongoing support for customers, ensuring seamless product functionality and assisting with technical challenges. Work with development, engineering, and product management teams to provide insights into product performance and identify areas for improvement. Manage and resolve technical incidents, ensuring issues are addressed within the agreed timelines. Communicate with customers regarding product issues, updates, and new feature rollouts in a clear, professional manner. Document troubleshooting steps, issues, and solutions in accordance with company standards for future reference.
