Job Description
Job Description: We are looking for an IT Operations Manager to oversee our companys hardware, software and computer networks. IT Operations Manager responsibilities include monitoring network infrastructure and resolving system issues. You need to have experience with IT performance management, network administration and system security. If youre also familiar with data protection regulations and able to juggle multiple projects, wed like to meet you. Ultimately, youll ensure our IT systems are secure, consistent and reliable.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise IT Team while managing high-level computer-related duties.
- Providing direction for IT team members.
- Drive regular operations maintenance of IT infrastructure applications and database including delivery of infrastructure projects Continuously strive to improve security operations.
- Provide 24 x 7 infrastructure and application support.
- Drive incident, problem, change, release, configuration, availability and capacity management with respect to IT Applications Infrastructure.
- Drive management of SLAs related to service requests, incidents, and business processes billing, mediation etc.
- Gather requirements from businesses and assist with the creation of solutions to meet operational needs.
- Drive creation of standard report formats where possible Share periodic project status with relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate with the corporate security teams for all IT related security activities.
- Design and deliver online security policy and trainings.
- Manage vulnerability assessments and network monitoring to uncover potential weaknesses.
- Manage, supervise and monitor end-to-end asset management process which includes forecasting procurement, allocation, changes, de-allocation, de-commissioning, repair and all other activities associated with asset lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- An IT Operations Manager should have a Degree (Bsc, BCom, BE, BTech) in Computer Science, IT or relevant field.
- Proven experience as IT Operations Manager.
- Strong knowledge of technical management and information analysis.
- Thorough knowledge of networks and cloud computing.
- Data center management and data governance skills.
- Strong leadership skills to effectively manage a team of IT professionals and drive performance.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members, senior management, and other stakeholders.
- Technical proficiency and knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, and systems to effectively manage and troubleshoot issues.
- Ability to manage multiple projects & Problem-solving aptitude.
Skills Required:
- Minimum 8-10 years of work experience in which 3-5 years experience as IT operations manager.
- Good and effective communication and leadership skills.
- Good interpersonal skills to be able to relate with people from different units of the company across various locations.
- Prior experience with systems and network installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Design, develop and coordinate systems, policies and procedures in the department.
- Active Directory management.
- Network Administration, firewall administration & VPN design.
- Google Workspace administration.
- Security and compliance processes.
- Exposure to ITIL concepts & adoption.
- Good to have: Microsoft / Cisco / PMI / Certifications.
- Root Cause Analysis techniques.
- Experience with KPI s tracking and dashboarding.
- ITIL Certifications (Foundation minimum).
- Project Management & Strong Communication skills.
- Resource optimization and Management.
Technical Skills:
- In-depth understanding/ Knowledge of Technology Operations and Supplier Management.
- Good Understanding of running Global Service Desk, Asset Lifecycle Management, BMC Remedy, ITSM and ITIL Practices, Audio Video Conferencing services and offerings, ITSM Tools, ITIL Methodology.
- Good understanding of working in a global model, and technical skills in the area of Systems / Voice/ Network.
- Reporting and Dashboard, Governance, Relationship management.
