UpMan Placements is urgently hiring for the following vacancy for one of our esteemed clients.

Company - A leading provider of Engineered Video Surveillance (CCTV), Enterprise Access Control, Hospitality Systems, Fire Detection and Intrusion Detection systems

Role - Project Manager

Location - Tanzania, Africa

1. Discipline : Electrical Engineers with a Specialization in Fire Alarm Systems

2. Degree Requirements : Minimum Bachelor's Degree

3. Language Requirement: Excellent Communication Skills in written and spoken English

4. AUTOCAD Skills mandatory

Work Experience Requirement

1. Minimum 4 Years Work Experience

2. Manufacturer's Training Certificate in Installation and Commissioning of one of the following ADDRESSABLE FIRE ALARM SYSTEM, and experience in installation and commissioning of any ONE OTHER system (no certificate required for second brand) - Honeywell/Morely, Notifier, GST, EST3, Hochiki, Apollo, Protec

3. Certificate in installaion and commissioning of VESDA or any other Aspiration systems

4. Experience in INSTALLATION and COMMISSIONING OF FM200 System (Design Knowledge not required)

5. Knowledge of NFPA and/or BS/EN standards for Fire Alarm.

6. Knowledge of Cause and Effect Programming and Interfacing with 3rd Party Devices

7. Knowledge of Brand Standards for Life Safety of ONE of the following: Marriott, Starwood, Accor, IHG (Holiday Inn etc), Hilton

8. Working knowledge of graphics software and fire alarm networking

Job Responsibilities:

1. Designing and Verifying Fire Alarm Systems to NFPA/BS/EN Standards

2. Wiring, installation, testing and commissioning addressable fire alarm systems

3. Supervising at least two teams of 4 or more technicians

4. Project management including liaison with client Project Managers and attending site meetings

5. Training technicians in basic installation and troubleshooting

6. Occasional travel to customer sites in remote areas (travel, accommodation provided) for installation/supervision work

Remuneration and Package:

1. Accomodation provided in staff apartment (own bedroom sharing other facilities)

2. Three Weeks vacation per year, one ticket provided every two years

3. Minimum 3 year contract.

4. Usual work related tools and amenities to be provided eg Laptop, SIM card etc.
