Job Description
- Pathology Lab Manager Job Location: Sinnar, Dist: Nashik (Maharashtra) Job Description: 1. Collection of blood & tissue sample as per the test required, putting patient's ID no & name on respective containers& dispatch in proper transportation manner. 2. Performs various tests advised, make entry of results in the register 3. Type reports and Sign 4. Performs internal quality control procedures as per SOPs (Standard Operating Procedure) and monitor the daily internal Quality control and record the deviations if any 5. Maintenance of laboratory related reagent & kit stock. 6. Validation of Laboratory instruments & quality run of various test as per SOP 7. Maintenance of instrument & reagent related brochures, manuals, calibration certificates & Validations. 8. Maintains glassware by picking - up, cleaning, washing, sterilizing, and distributing. 9. Provides glassware by ordering, receiving, and inventorying glassware. 10. Keeps laboratory supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt. 11. Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs. 12. Performing calibrations and running of controls as per SOP. 13. Inspect the incoming samples against set acceptance and rejection criteria. 14. Observing laboratory safety precautions in handling clinical specimens and running of tests. 15. Performs all laboratory investigations, as per in-house SOPs and working instructions. 16. Preparing & Maintaining daily inventory log 17. Performs all other job-related activities assigned by Department Consultant / Lab Director 18. Maintain proper storage of specimens/ samples as per SOP. 19. Maintains strict confidentiality related to medical records and other patient / clinical data 20. Critical/abnormal findings to be escalated. 21. Experience and understanding of analytical techniques instrumental methods of analysis for the analysis of tests 22. Awareness of GLP and GMP environment. Implementation maintenance of GLP. 23. Conversant with computers and related software. Minimum 2 years of experience. 24. Excellent Communication & interpersonal skills. 25. Will be sole responsible for Management of Laboratory, service staff and related regulatory & quality compliances. Lab Technician / Manager (Hematology/ Pathology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology) Desired Qualification: Qualification: 10+2 (Science) + DMLT/ BMLT/ BSc / MSc in healthcare field. Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications Clinical Pathology, Haematology, Microbiology, Histopathology, Biochemistry, Phlebotomy. Knowledge of microscopy is essential.,
