Job Description
- Position: Head of Quality Assurance (QA) - LED TV Bhiwadi, Alwar (Rajasthan) Industry: Consumer Electronics / Home Appliances Experience: Minimum 15+ years in QA for LED TV manufacturing, with at least 5 years in QLED technology Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership in QA Develop and enforce a robust Quality Assurance (QA) strategy aligned with organizational and production goals. Ensure the integration of quality standards throughout the product lifecycle, from design to delivery. Monitor market trends and technological advancements to anticipate and mitigate quality risks. Quality Control and Assurance Operations Establish rigorous testing protocols for LED and QLED TVs, including visual inspections, functional testing, and reliability assessments. Implement advanced tools and technologies for real-time quality monitoring. Ensure defect analysis and preventive action plans are effectively executed to minimize recurrence. Develop standards for incoming material inspection, in-process controls, and final product checks. Compliance and Certification Ensure compliance with national and international quality standards, such as ISO 9001, BIS, RoHS, and other applicable regulations. Lead efforts to achieve and maintain certifications required for LED and QLED products in global markets. Regularly update and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to meet quality requirements. Data-Driven Quality Management Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality metrics, such as First Pass Yield (FPY), defect rate, and customer returns. Use data analytics to identify patterns, root causes, and improvement opportunities in quality processes. Develop predictive models to address potential quality issues proactively. Auditing and Reporting Conduct regular internal and supplier audits to ensure adherence to quality standards. Lead external audits from regulatory bodies and certification agencies. Prepare detailed reports and dashboards for leadership, highlighting quality metrics and improvement initiatives. Supplier Quality Management Establish and maintain supplier quality standards, including audits, certifications, and periodic reviews. Work closely with suppliers to resolve non-conformances and enhance their quality processes. Develop and manage vendor scorecards to assess and improve supplier performance. Customer Feedback Integration Analyze customer feedback and product returns to identify quality improvement opportunities. Collaborate with the customer service and R&D teams to address recurring quality concerns. Implement systems for capturing and responding to customer quality-related issues effectively. Innovation and Continuous Improvement Drive the adoption of new QA methodologies, tools, and technologies to stay ahead in the industry. Develp a culture of continuous improvement by implementing Lean, Six Sigma, and other proven methodologies. Lead initiatives for reducing manufacturing defects, improving durability, and enhancing customer satisfaction. Key Skills And Competencies Advanced Technical Knowledge: Expertise in QLED and LED TV technologies, including cutting-edge testing methodologies. Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of global compliance standards and certification processes for consumer electronics. Problem-Solving: Analytical and critical thinking to identify and resolve complex quality issues. Attention to Detail: Ability to detect minor defects and ensure precision in QA processes. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Excellent coordination with R&D, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure quality standards. Project Management: Efficient handling of multiple quality improvement projects Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering (Electronics/Mechanical/Industrial or equivalent). Certifications such as Six Sigma (Black/Green Belt), Quality Management System (ISO 9001), or other relevant credentials. Preferred Experience Experience in establishing and scaling QA systems for high-volume LED and QLED TV manufacturing. Direct involvement in reducing defects and enhancing product reliability for global markets. Proven ability to lead teams and deliver quality results under tight deadlines.
