Job Description
- Urgent opening for Java + Big data developer for a Big 4 in Gurgaon. Exp : 3+yrs. Immediate to 1 month joiner only. Responsibilities Develop robust and scalable data processing pipelines using Java, Spark, and other Big Data technologies. Design, build, and maintain data ingestion and transformation processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions and meet business requirements. Optimize and tune data pipelines for performance and reliability. Implement data governance best practices and ensure data quality and integrity. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments. Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose new tools and frameworks for continuous improvement. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Java development with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming. Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies such as Spark, BigQuery, Airflow, DBT, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Proficiency in designing and developing data-intensive applications and systems. Experience with data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and ETL processes. Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Computer Science or related field. Certification in Big Data technologies (e.g Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer, AWS Certified Big Data Specialty). Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
