Job Description
- Job Descriptions: Tax Accounting 1. Manage tax accounting for international regions, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards. 2. Calculate deferred tax and current tax at consolidation level and legal entity level. 3. Prepare GAAP adjustment entries between various accounting standards. 4. Prepare detailed notes to accounts at consolidation and legal entity levels. 5. Compile tax MIS reports and present to senior management for change in effective tax rate analysis. 6. Perform various reconciliations related to tax accounts and financial statements. 7. Provide expert guidance to the finance team on tax numbers and assist in statutory audits. 8. Actively engage with tax controllers to discuss tax computations and ensure accuracy of tax reporting. 9. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations impacting international jurisdictions. 10. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address tax-related inquiries and issues. 11. Preparation of International entities consolidated financial statements 12. Preparation of variance analysis 13. Preparation of presentation to the Board members Monthly/Quarterly/Annual closure of books of account / MIS / Analysis Discussion with cross functional teams for the accounting requirement. Review of monthly Intercompany reconciliations to ensure complete and correct accounting in all entities. Review of the preparation of the International consol financials Preparation and review of monthly/Quarterly profit & loss account and variance analysis. BS analysis on a periodic basis Impairment analysis of various Investments Co-ordination with statutory auditors to ensure all audit points are closed Co-ordinate with Internal / IFC auditors Preparation/ Review of presentation for the board Preparation/ Review of annual notes to accounts Involvement in various transformation projects (eg:- BPC implementation) IT/Technical Skills: SAP exposure required. - Implementation knowledge will be added advantage. Good knowledge of MS Office, Excel, word & power point Good knowledge of IndAS and USGAAP accounting standards Qualification & Experience: Chartered Accountant with 10 to 15 years experience Additional professional qualifications are added advantage (Dip IFRS, CPA) Behavioral: Positive attitude and team leader. Good leadership and problem-solving skills. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Should be able to communicate with Auditors, controllers, consultants. People skills to constantly lead and energize team. Takes ownership, can work autonomously and is proactive. Able to assist others and troubleshoot issues. May be involved in the development of new systems, processes, and tools.,
