- Hi, We have a 6-12 month contract requirement (possibilities of extension) for a SQL Developer - REMOTE(INDIA) Please find below the job description for the same: Job Title: SQL Developer Contract Type: 6-12 Months Contract (with possibility of extension) Location: Remote (Work from Home)(INDIA) Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM IST, Monday to Friday Budget: INR 8-14 LPA Experience :- 5-8+ years Job Summary: The candidate will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, functions, and other database-related tasks. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure database code is efficient, scalable, and adheres to best practices. Key Responsibilities: Stored Procedure Development: Design, develop, and optimize complex stored procedures, triggers, functions, and views based on project requirements. Query Optimization: Write and optimize SQL queries to ensure optimal performance and efficiency of database operations. Database Design: Participate in the design and implementation of database structures, including tables, indexes, views, and schema objects. Data Management: Support data migration, transformation, and cleansing activities using SQL scripts. Troubleshooting: Analyze and troubleshoot SQL code issues, bottlenecks, and database-related performance problems. Integration: Work with development teams to integrate SQL components with applications, ensuring smooth data flow and functionality. Security: Ensure that SQL code adheres to security best practices, including the management of permissions and encryption where required. Testing and Validation: Conduct unit testing of SQL code to ensure data accuracy and performance. Assist in the integration testing process. Documentation: Maintain proper documentation of database code, procedures, and processes to ensure knowledge sharing and easy maintenance. Collaboration: Work closely with database administrators, architects, and application developers to ensure that database code aligns with project goals and standards. Required Qualifications: Experience: 5-8+ years of experience in SQL development with hands-on experience in writing stored procedures, triggers, and functions. Technical Skills: Expertise in T-SQL (Transact-SQL) for writing stored procedures, triggers, and functions. Strong understanding of relational database design and data normalization principles. Experience with query optimization techniques and tools for enhancing database performance. Hands-on experience with SQL Server (2016 or above) or other major relational database systems. Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, subqueries, and working with large datasets. Knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) is a plus. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex SQL code and performance issues. Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems such as Git to manage database scripts and revisions. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with remote teams. Team Collaboration: Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud-based databases (e.g., Azure SQL, AWS RDS). Familiarity with NoSQL databases or hybrid database environments. Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices, including database CI/CD pipelines. Experience in data migration projects or ETL processes. Microsoft SQL Server Certification (MCSA/MCSE) is a plus.,
