Cvent is looking for Senior Analyst, Pricing Analytics. This is an excellent opportunity for any pricing analyst who wants to take his/her pricing knowledge and experience to the next level. Work with the largest event management software company in the world. This is a fast-paced, timeline driven, and demanding role that requires a self-starter with excellent motivation and attention to detail. The successful candidate will also exhibit a desire and ability to learn Cvents products and internal systems.
In This Role, you will:
Be responsible for delivering cutting-edge pricing analytics services to stakeholders, enabling them to make fact-based decisions.
Based on multiple data sources, manage the generation of pricing / forecasting insights and recommendations with the objective to optimize sales performance KPIs.
In collaboration with your team, drive business value by delivering data-driven insights to stakeholders, proposing actions, developing pricing / forecasting products by leveraging the power of data and advanced analytics.
Contribute to continuous development of the analytics practice in pricing and markdown optimization analytics products, product performance insights
Conduct collection, tracking, mining and analysis of data and the generation of fact-based insights using multiple data sources.
Support with data quality checks of new data sets and quality checks of pricing solutions
Develop and constantly evolve analytics products, supporting markdown optimization and pricing strategies
Drive recommendations on the best pricing strategy and own enhancements to existing product pricing
Support in stakeholder understanding of analysis and reports
Own and automate reports on pricing
Deliver key insights to Cvent stakeholders and propose actions to drive sales, consumer experience, and brand value
Support with report generation showing the impact of price strategies
Proactively seek new datasets and solutions that could be used in pricing solutions
Here's What You Need:
University degree in the field of Business, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Sciences or equivalent
3+ years of experience in Analytics (Specific experience in Pricing Analytics is a plus)
Experience with Pricing, Trading or Forecasting is a plus
Basic experience in leading a team is a plus
A passion for delivering data-based recommendations for quantifiable improvements in business results and consumer satisfaction.
Strong analytical skills with ability to break down complex data and algorithms
Strong communication skills, comfortable presenting complex topics to stakeholders at various organizational levels both in person and remotely
Strong visualization skills and story-telling
Advanced experience with coding and automation tools and disciplines
Proven project management skills, including the ability to lead projects or work on several projects simultaneously
Proficient in MS Office
Experience in building, producing and enhancing automated solutions and reports
Fluent English both verbally and written
Experience in Data Science or Machine Learning is a plus
