We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-time Accounts Assistant to join our team in the grain industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, and maintaining strong relationships with our customers and suppliers. Key Responsibilities: Process and reconcile grain sales and purchases transactions - Reconcile bank statements and investigate discrepancies - Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and spreadsheets - Provide customer service and respond to queries Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure compliance with financial regulations Requirements: 2+ years of experience in accounting or a related field Basic accounting qualifications (e.g., AAT, Bookkeeping Certificate) Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Familiarity with the grain industry (desirable) Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Day shift Education: Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience: Tally: 5 years (Preferred) Accounting: 8 years (Preferred) total work: 10 years (Preferred) License/Certification: CA-Inter (Preferred) Work Location: In person,
