Job Description
- We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Graphics and Multimedia Faculty member to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in graphic design, multimedia arts, and related technologies, with a passion for teaching and mentoring students. Key Responsibilities: Teaching and Instruction: Deliver high-quality lectures, workshops, and hands-on training in graphics design, multimedia production, and related subjects. Provide clear and constructive feedback to students on their work, guiding them towards their academic and professional goals. Curriculum Development: Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive learning experience across different courses. Student Support: Mentor and support students in their coursework and projects, offering guidance on both technical and creative aspects. Industry Engagement: Stay informed about the latest advancements in graphics and multimedia technologies and integrate this knowledge into the curriculum. Administrative Duties: Participate in departmental meetings, contribute to program evaluations, and assist in strategic planning for the department. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, Digital Media, or a related field. A Masters degree is preferred. Experience: Demonstrated experience in graphic design and multimedia production, including proficiency in relevant software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, After Effects). Prior teaching experience at a higher education level is advantageous. A strong portfolio showcasing a range of multimedia projects, including graphic design, video editing, and digital media. Skills: Expertise in graphic design principles, multimedia production techniques, and current software tools. Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
