Ensure Supply Chain management of all Engineering spares/new equipment / services of specified quality to meet the plant requirements at optimum cost. Vendor development & alternate product substitution for cost reduction. Continuously explore new products, vendors and sources. Employee Development Ensure conducive work culture to optimize productivity, cost consciousness and organize necessary inputs periodically, to improve competence levels in the department on a continuous basis. effectively procure material and services for the site to ensure that they meet or exceed internal quality and delivery expectations at low cost while ensuring the most favorable terms and conditions To ensure compliance with Corporate Principles and guidelines, purchasing procedures and standards and applicable legislation.,
