Role and Responsibiliti es: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full-Stack Engineer with expertise in Ruby on Rails (RoR) and Next.js, with a primary focus on front-end development. As part of our dynamic engineering team, you will design and build scalable, user-friendly web applications that deliver exceptional user experiences. This role is ideal for someone passionate about crafting intuitive, high-performance interfaces while also having the ability to contribute to back-end developm ent. Lead the development of high-quality web applications using Ruby on Rails for back-end and Next.js for front -end.Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to create seamless and visually appealing user experie nces.Take ownership of front-end architecture, ensuring modularity, maintainability, and scalabi lity.Write clean, testable, and efficient code following best practices (e.g., TDD/BDD, CI /CD).Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability across various devices and brow sers.Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and provide technical guid ance.Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in full-stack and front-end develop ment.Collaborate on API design and integration with the back-end sys tems. Desired candidate pro file: 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development with a strong focus on front-end engine ering.Proficiency in Ruby on Rails and Next.js, with a track record of delivering production-quality applica tions.Deep understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks (React.js, Next.js) and their ecos ystem.Strong expertise in HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, Tailwind CSS, and responsive design princ iples.Experience with front-end performance optimization techniques and tools.Solid understanding of RESTful API design and Gr aphQL.Familiarity with database systems (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and caching mechanisms (Redis, Memca ched).Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and CI/CD pipe lines.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team enviro nment.Strong verbal and written communication s kills. Preferred Qualific ation: Experience with testing frameworks like RSpec, Jest, or C ypress.Familiarity with Type Script.Background in Agile/Scrum development methodo logies.Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and tools such as Figma or Sketch.Experience working in a fast-paced startup envir onment.
