- Job Title: Senior React.js and Next.js Developer Location: Chennai / Hyderabad / Bengaluru Experience: 8 to 12 years Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled React.js and Next.js Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in front-end development, with extensive experience in building high-performance, responsive web applications using React.js and Next.js frameworks. You will be responsible for designing and developing scalable applications, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities Design and Development: Build and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using React.js and Next.js. Architecture: Design and develop high-quality, robust, and maintainable code architecture. Collaboration: Work closely with UI/UX designers, product owners, and backend developers to deliver cohesive products. Optimization: Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers. Code Reviews: Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers. Testing: Implement unit and integration tests for robust and maintainable code. Agile Development: Participate in Agile/Scrum development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospective meetings. Documentation: Maintain clear and detailed documentation for development processes and architecture decisions. Skills And Qualifications Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in React.js, Next.js, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and related front-end technologies. State Management: Expertise in state management libraries like Redux, MobX, or similar. API Integration: Experience in integrating RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or other services. Performance Optimization: Strong understanding of client-side performance optimization techniques. Testing Frameworks: Experience with front-end testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Enzyme). Version Control: Proficient in version control tools such as Git. Responsive Design: Strong knowledge of responsive web design, cross-browser compatibility, and web standards. Security: Awareness of common web security vulnerabilities and experience in preventing them. Cloud and DevOps: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Preferred Qualifications Experience with SSR (Server-Side Rendering) and SSG (Static Site Generation) in Next.js. Understanding of modern build tools like Webpack, Babel, ESLint, etc. Familiarity with Headless CMS (e.g., Contentful, Strapi) and Jamstack architectures. Experience in deploying and maintaining applications in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP). Leadership experience in managing a team of developers and leading projects. Soft Skills Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A proactive attitude and a team-player mentality. Education Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
