Job Description
- Role & Responsibilities: Create and maintain accurate 2D AutoCAD drawings for various pharmaceutical project stages, including: o Facility layouts (cleanrooms, production lines, etc.) o Process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) o Equipment layouts and general arrangement drawings o As-built drawings for existing facilities (if applicable) Collaborate closely with project engineers and consultants to understand project requirements and ensure drawings meet all specifications. Revise and update existing drawings based on design changes or client feedback. Maintain a well-organized electronic filing system for all project drawings. Adhere to company standards and industry best practices for AutoCAD drawings. Assist with the creation of 3D models (if applicable) using software like AutoCAD, Stad Pro, Revit (a plus). Perform other duties as assigned by senior engineers or project managers. Qualifications & Work Experience: Diploma or associate degree in mechanical engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related field (preferred). Minimum 1-3 years of experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman in the engineering or construction industry (pharmaceutical industry experience a plus). Core competencies required: Proven proficiency in AutoCAD software, including a strong understanding of industrystandard drawing practices. Excellent knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles. Ability to work independently and meticulously, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in drawings. Strong understanding of basic engineering principles and construction terminology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with project teams. Ability to work effectively within deadlines and meet project milestones. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
