Roles and Responsibilities

Network Engineer (Firewall, Routing, Switching, F5 Load Balncer)

 Balancer, Firewall, Network Security Products(Cisco,Juniper,F5 etc) ,ACI

Person Specification
1. Proven detailed experience in designing mid to large-scale network solutions
2. Capable of bringing together expert knowledge from across the organization and consolidating into a cohesive end-to-end solution
3. A forward thinker
4. The ability to effectively communicate and sell complex solutions
5. Experience in participating in virtual teams in a complex network environment
6. Technical knowledge of all major components of network infrastructure used within the Barclays group (DataCentre-ACI, firewalls, loadbalancer.)
7. In Depth knowledge of routing protocols like EIGRP, OSPF and BGP

Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:
8. Handling Cisco products like Routers, switches.
9. Hands-on experience in Cisco ACI, Nexus
10. Hands-on experience with F5 BIGIP load balancers
11. Fortinet Juniper, Checkpoint and Cisco ASA firewalls

Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:
12. Cisco - CCIE/CCNP (R&S/security) certified (CCIE is good to have)
13. Fortigate FCNSA
14. F5 CTS-LTM, CTS-GTM
15. Python, Ansible, shell scripting
