We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Manager to oversee and manage the organizations information technology systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless IT operations, developing and implementing IT strategies, managing IT staff, and driving technological advancements to support the company's objectives.
Key Responsibilities*
- *IT Strategy and Planning*
- Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for technology improvements and innovation.
- Prepare and manage the IT departments budget.
- *Systems and Infrastructure Management*
- Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of hardware, software, and networks.
- Ensure the security of IT systems and data through best practices, tools, and compliance with regulations.
- Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
- *Team Leadership and Collaboration*
- Lead, mentor, and manage the IT team, providing guidance and fostering professional growth.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand and address their IT requirements.
- Ensure timely and effective resolution of technical issues and support requests.
- *Vendor and Stakeholder Management*
- Manage relationships with external vendors, ensuring cost-effective procurement and service agreements.
- Negotiate contracts and evaluate vendor performance.
- *Technology Evaluation and Implementation*
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Recommend and implement new technologies to improve efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
- Proven experience as an IT Manager or in a similar role (5+ years preferred).
- Strong experience with IT infrastructure, networks, and systems.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in network administration, hardware/software management, and cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and tools.
- Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
