Job Description

We are seeking a creative and skilled Apparel Designer to join our dynamic team. The candidate will be passionate about fashion, trendsetting, and possess strong technical design skills. You will be responsible for translating concepts into functional, trend-forward designs that inspire consumers and maintain brand integrity. Working with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to a design process that includes extensive research, trend forecasting, fabric selection, garment creation, and production oversight. Your designs will not only embody our brands aesthetic but also resonate with our customers' evolving needs.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelors degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or a related field.

Experience:

3-5 years of experience in apparel design, ideally in [specific niche: womenswear, menswear, activewear, etc.].
A strong portfolio that demonstrates design skills, creativity, and a solid understanding of garment construction.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in design software .
Knowledge of 3D garment design software or digital pattern-making tools .

Industry Knowledge:

In-depth understanding of fabric types, garment construction techniques, and manufacturing processes.
Familiarity with sourcing materials, trims, and production processes.

Problem-Solving Skills:

Ability to quickly address challenges in design or production and offer solutions.
Comfort with making adjustments based on fit feedback and production capabilities.
