This is a new communications role created to support Worley Enterprise Services (WES), a new business unit established to manage the service delivery of Worleys managed service providers and shared services centers.

This role requires a communications practitioner with great writing skills who can write engaging content for various mediums including video, and experience in channel management. They can also develop and implement communications plans on time, have good organizational skills with an eye for detail, and have experience working on projects. 


Key accountabilities include:


      Providing communications support to the WES Senior Group Director and his leadership team, including the development of a range of high-quality communications materials. The communications material ranges from news articles, fact sheets, infographics, success stories, videos to presentations.

      Creating regular, engaging content that informs and motivates employees about changes to the business functions and how they can benefit them. This includes success stories that highlight progress made from the changes.

      Managing existing communications channels to reach key stakeholders, team members and a global and diverse workforce, or creating new channels as required. This includes town halls, newsletters, and SharePoint.

      Supporting the selection and rewrite of existing articles to turn into knowledge articles that meets certain publication guidelines for our ServiceNow platform.

      Collaborate with the WES OCM representative to communicate coming changes and required actions to target audiences or stakeholders.  

      Promote strong working partnerships and collaboration across WES and internal stakeholders, Internal Communications and OCM teams to ensure the communications is consistent across Worley and delivered in a timely manner.


Competencies


  • Qualifications in communications or public relations
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Excellent time management and organization skills, with strong attention to detail, and ability to adapt to changing priorities within a deadline driven environment
  • An autonomous contributor who can manage and perform their tasks and projects on time and to the standard expected  
  • Strong interpersonal relationship skills. Ability to engage and build good working relationship with team members
  • Collaborative, proactive, inclusive; a team player.
  • Competency in using digital platforms SharePoint and Yammer.

Knowledge and experience


  • Prior communications experience in a large, complex organization across multiple geographies
  • Excellent communicator who can translate complex information into simple English. This is an important factor for some of our audiences/ employees whose native language is not English
  • A proven track record of achievement in a communications adviser or similar role, focused on supporting a senior leader. 
  • Comfortable working closely with change professionals on programs or projects.
  • An understanding of the pros and cons of various communications channels and how best to reach our target audiences, considering the communications objectives.
