The Technical Lead will work under the supervision of and report to IT Department IT Project Management. He/she will work closely with BPMSD agents and business users, ITD decision makers, and system owners.
Within the HRSD Project Team, the Technical Lead works with, and under guidance from the project leadership to:
1. HRSD Project Manager on definition of the IT requirements and priorities.
2. Identify sprints and review scope of work (SOW)
3. Lead creation and execution of work packages, and identify dependencies
4. Coordinate activities across the ITD teams and monitor delivery of technical deliverables
5. Report status of technical deliverables to the Project Manager
6. Identify technical solutions, including integration solutions, based on collaboration with BPMSD, ITD and the vendor. Review and update documentation prepared by the Business Analysts
7. Identify, resolve and escalate as necessary technical risks and issues
8. Prioritize between current and future requirements; and align the prioritized deliverables with the Team and Business Users in a timely manner
9. Support ACM and Vendor trainers in knowledge sharing/orientation and training to both Technical Teams and Business Users and Agents
10. Coordinate with vendor resources to clarify requirements, and ensure ADB standards on planning, execution, and testing are met
11. Coordinate with the QA Teams as required. Coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT), Regression testing, Performance Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in collaboration with Test Lead
12. Perform code/configuration review done by Vendors to ensure it is in accordance with ADB Software Engineering standards and best practices
13. Initiate communication with other personnel of ADB or third party, but outside the project team, if necessary, to accomplish project-related tasks
14. Create or oversee creation of Design documents and presentations
2. REPORTING LINE
The Technical Lead reports to the HRSD Project Manager.
3. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Accounting or any related course
At least 7 years experience in leading technical teams and implementing IT solutions in a complex environment, 5 years using ServiceNow in particular, preferably in multilateral or international financial institutions
Strong technical expertise on ServiceNow platform, including architecture, configuration, and data migration best practices
Experience in implementing the ServiceNow HR Service Delivery product
ServiceNow Certification preferred (Application Developer or Implementation Specialist)
Experience in implementation and maintenance of a document management system
Technical Project Management experience
Proven track record in leading the implementation of IT solutions
Experience in Contact Center or Shared Services solutions and Product Design is a plus
Knowledgeable in best practices concerning business process management, design, and project methodologies
Experience in both Waterfall and Agile software life cycle methodologies (Scrum or Kanban) preferred
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Must have excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
