The Assisted Reproduction Technology (ART) Clinical Specialist is a regional position, reporting to the Director, Global Product Development of the Reproductive Health (RH) Specialty. The position is intended to support sales operations and product management mainly in, but not limited to; India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh

The Clinical Specialist is responsible for providing customers with clinical support for the utilization of COOK products relative to the practice of human reproduction, including IVF, ICSI, embryo culture and cryopreservation.

Job Function/Duties:

  • The Clinical Specialist is responsible for providing customers with clinical support for the utilization of COOK products relative to the practice of human reproduction, including IVF, ICSI, embryo culture and cryopreservation.
  • The position will support direct sales and distribution partners as well as Product Management in the development and improvement of training, products and services.
  • The clinical specialist will work closely with the local sales leaders to implement and fully support the execution of the business plans.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with the national/regional SMEs
  • They will provide input on assisted reproduction market analysis and trends.
  • The position will also include the direct organization/hosting of training workshops to customers and sales staff.
  • They will be involved with the implementation and running of clinical evaluations for products including culture media.
  • They will work with partners (academic or otherwise) when required especially in relation to new product development and evaluation
  • Maintains knowledge of SBU product lines, clinical procedures, business ethics and other educational requirements.
  • Completes expense reports, call reports and other administrative documentation as required.
  • Travels up to 70% (including international) and position will be based in India, preferably in one of the Indian metropolitan cities.
  • Maintains frequent communication with Global product Development Manager and other support functions.
  • Follow scrupulously COOK ethics and compliance guidelines.

Experience

  • Minimum B.Sc. in biology or Clinical lab Science with a preference for M.Sc. or greater in embryology or reproductive sciences.
  • Minimum 3 years of working in clinical embryology practice.
  • Strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills, computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite, excellent attention to details and scientific approach.
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills in English language is mandatory
  • Fluency in local Indian languages is mandatory
  • Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Must have excellent organizational skills
  • Must be a demonstrated team player

Education:

UG:   B.Sc - Other Specialization, Biology, MBBS - Medicine

PG:  MS/M.Sc(Science) - Other, Medical-MS/MD - Any Specialization, Obstretrics, Gyneocology

Doctorate:  Doctorate Not Required
