Job Description
Duties and responsibilities:
Arranging appointments with doctors, pharmacists and hospital medical teams, which may include pre-arranged appointments or regular 'cold' calling;
- Making presentations to doctors, practice staff, hospital doctors and pharmacists in the retail sector.
- Building and maintaining positive working relationships with medical staff and supporting administrative staff;
- Keeping detailed records of all contacts;
- Reaching (and exceeding) annual sales targets;
- Planning work schedules and weekly and monthly timetables.
- Regularly attending company meetings.
- Monitoring competitor activity and competitors' products;
- Developing strategies for increasing opportunities to meet and talk to contacts in the medical and healthcare sector;
Provide product information and deliver product samples
- Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature and following up on account receivables
Qualifications & Experience:
Level of education: Graduate in Science
Experience: Preferable a couple of years as a medical representative and OTC business
IT Skills: Knowledge of basic computer programs (Excel, Word).
Languages: Fluent in English and Hindi, good knowledge of written
English enabling understanding of scientific literature.
Proven work experience as a pharmaceutical rep or in medical sales
Highly motivated and the target is driven with a proven track record in sales
Compensation: Industry-standard fixed compensation and aggressive variable pay
