Job Description

We are currently Looking for an experienced and highly motivated Head of Projects to lead our project management team and oversee all aspects of our real estate development project. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and leading teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of real estate development projects, from initial planning and design to construction and final completion
- Determine and define scope of work and deliverables
- Predict resources needed to complete the project
- Obtain necessary permits, approvals, and other regulatory prerequisites
- Lead a team of project managers and other professionals, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards, on time, and within budget
- Work closely with architects, designers, engineers, contractors, subcontractors and other external agencies to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure with sustainability goals & project vision
- Manage construction schedule, activities and issue progress updates as needed regarding costs and timelines
- Coordinate with all the stakeholders to ensure all projects are completed to the highest standards
- Review different drawings with an eye for detail to identify risks in Architectural, Structural & MEP such as work-front availability ahead of time & mitigate them.
- Develop and implement project management processes and procedures to ensure efficient and effective project delivery
- Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress and issues
- Ensure that all projects comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Continuously monitor and improve project management processes to ensure efficient and effective project delivery
- Ensure adherence and compliance to all health and safety standards w.r.t relevant building and safety codes, report issues and resolve accordingly
Qualifications & Experience:
- 15+ years project management experience of similar developments in terms of scale & complexity, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Candidate must come from either a Real Estate Company or a leading project management company.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in real estate development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Bachelor's degree in Building Construction, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture
Skills & Expertise:
- Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
- Exposure to ESG projects. Experience of working with /understanding of low-impact construction materials like lime, mud, stone etc.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and leading teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards
- Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills
- Experience with project management software and tools
- Strong understanding of construction and real estate development processes
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong Leadership Skills combined with people and business acumen
