Job Description

The Packaging Specialist is responsible for packaging inventory management (receipt, stocking, replenishment etc.), shipping/receiving, and final product packaging. Coordination of shipping, receiving, storage and processing of goods. Load and unload trucks using industrial equipment.

A packaging specialist focuses on developing packages that are cost-effective, attractive, and appropriate for protecting products. People in this career often work with a client or company to design boxes or other containers that meet all requirements.

Visually inspect and weigh cans on the packaging line to ensure quality Place cans into cardboard case trays Apply plastic carrying grids to the top of cans Stack full cases onto pallets for storage
