Experience with Linux servers in virtualized environments

Familiarity with the fundamentals of Linux Operating system

Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining services such as Tomcat, Apache, MySQL, nginx, etc.

Strong grasp on configuration management tools, such as Puppet and Chef or ansible

Familiarity with load balancing, firewalls, etc.

Proficient with network tools such as iptables, Linux IPVS, HAProxy, etc.

Ability to build and monitor services on production servers

IN depth knowledge of Linux: RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.

Hands on experience with MySQL

Familiarity with VMWare and Container technology

Solid knowledge of protocols such as APACHE, DNS, LDAP, SMTP and SNMP

Knowledge of servers and containers, kubernetes cluster.

Must be experience with docker and docker build

Possess a strong DevOps focus: Knowledge of setting up a continuous development pipeline (Jenkins), Repository software (Git-based), Java application monitoring software, Logging software (elasticsearch, kibana, logstash, beats).

PKI & SSL/TLS certificate management

Relationship Management - able to personally provide high level of interactive service to others, building relationships and addressing identified needs.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor of science degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or relevant field

RedHat Certified will be added advantage

DevOps/VMware certified will be added advantage
