Location- Bangalore

Roles and Responsibilities

Job Title: Selenium + Java Automation Tester (SDET)

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Java Automation Tester to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality of our web applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Java, experience with automation frameworks[, and a passion for delivering high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

Work with development and testing teams to understand and analyze user stories

Create and maintain automated test scripts UI/Non UI using Java and relevant automation frameworks

Execute and monitor automated test suites to ensure maximum coverage and efficiency

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects

Analyze test results and report issues to the development team

Continuously evaluate and improve the automation framework and test coverage

Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall software development process

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field

6-9 years of experience in software testing and automation

Strong understanding of Java and web development technologies

Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright

Work Experience in the FinTech / Mortgage / Mortgage Insurance is preferred

Hands on experience in designing the complex SQL queries (using Joints / Storedprocedures)

Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies and processes

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team environment

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Nice to have Qualifications:

Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI

Knowledge of other programming languages such as Python or Java is a value add
