The Network Security Engineer is responsible for providing expert services to Ethan Group customers in relation to implementing, managing, operating and supporting their technologically diverse IT environments.
Coordinate technical activities with key internal and client stakeholders
Identify and register security risks
Develop technical change requests, migration and test plans
Support Project Managers in managing project scope and risks effectively
Liaise with vendors, service providers and internal stakeholders to execute technical change
Responding to Support Tickets and Service Requests in relation to internal and external customer
networks, generally aligned to security, in a timely manner
Responding to Security escalations from internal stakeholders
From time-to-time, perform On Call or Planned Work outside of core business hours
Main activities:
Implement, evaluate and assist in security changes and device patching of various network and
infrastructure systems solutions for new and existing customers
Manage Security Incidents, prioritising tickets to meet SLAs
Technical delivery of solutions to the highest standard within agreed time frames
Coordinating and supervising changes and outages to customer environments ensuring all work is implemented subject to the Ethan Group Change Management Guidelines.
Engage with key Ethan Group Vendors to provide up to date technical advice to internal resources
Key skills:
5 years minimum experience in IT, concentrating on network engineering
Hold current CCNP Security or higher-level certification(s).
Hold current certification CCIE Routing and Switching or CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure
Hold current certification Enterprise Networks SDA, SDWAN, and ISE Exam for SEs 500-470
