Job Description
Job Title: WordPress Developer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer with at least 3 years of experience in
website development to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for
designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites. The candidate should have
a strong understanding of WordPress, PHP, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop custom WordPress themes and plugins.
Customize existing themes and plugins to meet client requirements.
Collaborate with designers to create visually appealing websites.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Ensure website functionality and performance.
Troubleshoot and fix any issues with websites.
Keep up to date with the latest web technologies, WordPress updates, and
security best practices.
Optimize website for speed and search engine optimization (SEO).
Work with project managers and clients to gather requirements and provide
updates on progress.
Mentor junior developers and share knowledge with the team.
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in website development with a focus on
WordPress.
Strong understanding of WordPress, PHP, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience developing custom WordPress themes and plugins.
Familiarity with popular WordPress plugins such as WooCommerce, Contact
Form 7, and Yoast SEO.
Knowledge of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
Ability to write and learn clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field
(preferred).
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position. The candidate will be expected to work 40 hours per week,
Monday to Friday. The work can be done remotely, or from our office. There may be
occasional requirements for overtime or weekend work to meet project deadlines.
