We are Hiring for Structural Drafting Engineer with 5-8 Years of Experience in Baroda locations
Roles and Responsibilities
Designer/Drafting engineer with Marine/Oil & Gas background who has strong engineering drafting & detailing skills of Marine & Offshore structure
We are looking for Designer/Drafting engineer with Marine/Oil & Gas background who has strong engineering drafting & detailing skills of Marine & Offshore structure.
At least 7+ years of on-the-job experience in Design, drafting & detailing of Marine & Offshore structures.
Title / Position: Structural Drafting Engineer Role/JD: Should be expertise in Engineering drafting, Detailed Engineering, Preparation of technical specification documents for project tasks, bill of materials Should be conversant with the major international codes generally required for drafting tasks e.g. ABS ERGO guide.
Should be conversant with Marine Equipment foundation design concept, various platform design. trolley beam design, lifting padeye design, helideck design, stair tower design etc.
Estimating the project timelines and complete assigned projects on time with adhering to client specified standards. Should collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of Structural Engineers, Electrical Engineers & mechanical engineers Shall be able to undertake the task independently and guide junior designers.
Skills: Should have skill and strong experience in below areas: o Strong knowledge of offshore structures mainly Jackup rigs, semi-submersible rigs and drill ships. o Have experience on different equipment layout, stair tower design, platform design, foundation design for different equipment for offshore structure.
o Have experience of different classification rule etc ABS ergo. OSHA etc. o Have Strong experience of AutoCAD software 2D/3D o Have strong experience in 2D design, lifting pad eye drawings, trolley beam design etc. o Ensure design deliverables are completed and issued per project task requirement & specifications o Should be able to describe welding details, lifting procedure details etc. on the fabrication drawings o Nesting plan generations for Hull structure o Ensure all deliverables compliance with class, and all reference information required for fabrication and installation o Should be able to prepare class drawings and construction drawings. Also to be familiarization with ABS, DNV rules will be advantageous. o Advantage if worked on repair drawings and Re-installation drawings in Offshore field. o Yard experience and 3D modelling in Rig structures is an advantage. o Should be adhere with tight timelines of client in drawing delivery. Deliverable Data Quality Check Softwares skills: Should have expertise in below technical softwares. o AutoCAD (2D/3D)
