This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and dynamic individual to join our team as Linux and
DevOps Administrator. The interested candidates will be responsible for skilfully managing the
infrastructure and deployments, and to ensure that services are active and running with optimal
performance.
Job Responsibilities:
Work within a team to design and setup servers and the web application services.
Should have experience on performing network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose
networking issues.
Strong fundamental knowledge and expertise in working on LAMP with WHM/cPanel based
and bare servers where manual configuration is necessary.
Architecting and deployment of AWS services especially, EC2, S3, API gateways, Lambda
deployments, VPC, Route 53.
Strong understanding of GIT
Experience in implementing GIT workflows and automating the deployments in different
staging and production environments.
Knowledge in GITLAB is an advantage
Responsible for drafting and execution of server/application security policies.
Expecting to provide inputs in improving the workflow, introducing advancements in the
existing infrastructure.
Ability to understand and contribute to design considerations such as scalability, performance,
redundancy and automation.
Active team player who works on a common goal and doing coordination with the different
department on the projects assigned.
Migration / deployment of services in cloud.
Maintaining microservices.
Systematic documentation of the tasks that have been implemented and completed.
Responsible for the security and uptime of the servers.
Should be available during the server maintenance and server migrations whenever it is
needed.
Maintaining the uptime of the servers.
Should be available on call 24/7 in case of emergency.
Additional Requirements:
Has to have good exposure towards CI/CD tools like Gitlab or Jenkins
Has exposure towards setting up and managing GIT repositories
Has exposure towards, DB, WEB and application security
Has hands own experience in configuring services in AWS like EC2, S3 and Cloud Watch
Hands-on experience in apache server configurations and performance tuning
Hands-on experience in nginx as reverse proxy and high performance web application service
Hands-on experience in managing and setting up MySQL replication
Has exposure in doing MySQL performance optimization for high traffic applications.
Good understanding about GIT and workflow management.
Good understanding on the log management of the servers and the applications.
