Job Description
- Architect and design highly scalable, available, secure and resilient solutions that implement industry best practices and cutting-edge technologies.
- Perform research, analysis and do proof of concepts using new technologies as needed by the business
- Work together with other members of the architecture team to support projects and initiatives
- Work with developers to guide design and implementation of architecturally significant product features
- Partner closely with the product owners, business analyst to align product architecture with business needs
- Negotiate and effectively articulate rationale and vision behind technical decisions
- Research, analyse and recommend solutions which meet business and technology needs
- Understand development best practices followed within the organization and contribute when required
- Partner with DevOps teams to come up with deployment architecture and operationalize the product deliveries
The Requirements
- Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
- Strong experience in web development using Java EE technologies.
- Experience with Spring Framework and Spring Security
- Exposure to cloud computing platforms like Azure, Oracle Cloud etc. will be a plus
- Understanding of DevOPS tools and frameworks like Jenkins, Bamboo, Ansible etc.
- Experience with Dockers and Kubernetes
- Experience with build tools like ANT, Maven, Gradle etc.
- Experience with Application Servers like Weblogic, JBoss etc.
- Experience of building high performance and secure Restful and SOAP web services in Java
- Experience using advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as AngularJS
- Experience using code versioning tools such as Git
- Understanding of database design and ERD
- Understanding of Oracle Stored Procedures and writing efficient SQL
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and ability to clearly articulate technology solutions and design options to broad groups of people
- Should be extremely hands-on with code, and willing to learn new tools and technologies
- Self-motivated, creative and passionate about innovations and problem-solving.
- Experience working on agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban
