Consultant Anesthetist @ Woodland Hospital

Job Description

• Administer anesthesia to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures, considering their individual needs and medical history.
• Perform pre-operative evaluations and assessments to determine the appropriate anesthesia plan for each patient.
• Monitor patients' vital signs, such as heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels, during surgery to ensure their safety and adjust anesthesia accordingly.
• Manage patients' pain and provide post-operative pain management interventions.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in anesthesiology, pain management techniques, and perioperative care.
• Supervise and guide resident doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff involved in anesthesia administration and patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patients' medical history, anesthesia administration, and post-operative progress.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case reviews, and continuous quality improvement activities to enhance patient care and safety.
