Job Description
Job RequirementCandidate will be required to interact with the client/test lead to understand the scope
Creating Test plan and Test Strategy.
Should have good understanding of various Performance Tools to identify & propose best suited tool.
Should be able to build and mentor team members.
Should have strong experience in Performance bottleneck identification & provide recommendations.
Creating and tracking the schedule of the activities.
Should have strong hold on performance testing tools like Loadrunner, Neoload, Jmeter, VSTS etc.
Should have analytical skills pertaining to Test Data requirement, Test environment set up.
Should have experience in Reviewing test scripts & test scenarios.
Should be able to provide solutions for technical issues to the team.
Should be able to create executive reports for Business users.
Capturing and Analysis of the server side logs/results.
Prepare result summary (performance benchmark and bottleneck identification reports)
Analyze reports discrepancies to determine the root cause and will evaluate script failures.
Server (App, DB etc.) side resource monitoring (CPU, Memory, network etc.)
Sending daily/Weekly/Monthly status updates.
Education & Experience
Must Have
6+ years of experience in performance testing.
Must have experience in basic performance engineering.
Should have experience in performance testing of Mobile Applications.
Expertise in utilizing performance- monitoring and tuning software for interpreting performance results and identifying bottlenecks (eg., Appdynamics, Newrelic, SiteScope, Keynote, JProbe etc.)
Strong test results analysis skills and test results reporting skills.
Strong in Monitoring of Linux / Windows based Systems.
Desirable Skills
Experience with Agile Project Management Tools like JIRA/Zephyr.
Should have experience of testing IOT devices or other latest technologies.
Working experience in agile test environment.
Should have experience in using CI Tools.
Able to understand the application architecture and suggest recommendations to achieve optimize performance.
Strong in profiling debugging of performance issues.
Expert in any of the programming languages like Java, C/C++ , JavaScript, Python etc.
An ability to understand and write scripts in a variety of languages such as Javascript, Python, Perl or PowerShell.
Exposure to cloud platforms like MS Azure , AWS etc.
