Dear Applicants,

We are Hiring for Marine automation design engineer with 5-7 Years of Experience in Baroda locations

Roles and Responsibilities

Education: BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, concentration in power and controls

Required professional experience:

Power plant switchgear control design (expect to be able to provide signal interface and logic to systems for engine generator control)
Power plant protection system (practical experience with protection relays for HV or LV application) having ability to change logic in relays and change relay protection settings (not only guidance for rig but change active files to be deployed)
Drilling and thruster drives (practical experience in drive configuration and parameterization with interface to drilling control and DP systems)
Drilling systems (versed in software for control of drilling tools knowing equipment sequence and ability to specify logic required for tools to operate)
Marine systems (practical experience in design of communication, fire/gas detection, ESD with actual design not only shipyard cabling experience)
Produce/model systems in ETAP or SKM PowerTools (SC, relay coordination, harmonic, load flow, arc flash, transient)

Required ancillary skills:

ACAD
Technical report writing
Electrical standards (versed in IEC LV and HV as well as IEEE equivalent specifically for offshore/marine application)
Class society rules (versed in ABS and DNV electrical rules with respect to equipment rating and performance requirements)
