Job Description

Ideal Candidate:

  • Post Graduate degree in area of management/retail/ fashion or its equivalent is required.
  • Demonstrated exceptional written, oral communications & PowerPoint skills needed.
  • Must be organized and able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Candidates must demonstrate either through prior work experience or academic course studies an aptitude and enthusiasm for research and teaching.

Essential Job Functions & Skill Summary:

The Assistant Manger - Learning & Development will take an active role in on-going Academic research projects in various stages from conception through publication. The work may include, quantitative and qualitative research and analysis, coordination and management of information and data, development of teaching materials, and work on special projects. You will be required to guide and mentor the students through the course. In addition the role will include coordinating with the assigned faculty WRT content and delivery schedule.

This position provides an opportunity to gain experience in academic or business research and also academic delivery.

  • Prepare presentations for teaching and research projects.
  • Assist with data analysis and dissemination of findings through the preparation of teaching materials, reports, journal articles, presentations, web sites, and other research outlets.
  • Perform case-based research, including work with detailed primary documents.
  • Assist in the organization of research programs including conferences, seminars and workshops, and perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Creating the yearly academic calendar at the beginning of each batch
  • To engage in examining duties, i.e. the production of exam questions/papers, exam marking and moderation
  • Keeping a regular record of Faculty & Student Attendance.
  • Updating the content on the particular LMS platform.
  • Supporting HODs in management of clerical / administrative staff.
  • Also take up classroom teachings.
