About us
DKMS BMST Foundation India is a non-profit organization dedicated to the fight against blood cancer and other blood disorders, such as thalassemia and aplastic anaemia. Our aim is to improve the situation of patients suffering from blood cancer and other blood disorders in India and throughout the world, by raising awareness about blood stem cell transplantation and registering potential blood stem cell donors. By doing this, DKMS-BMST provides patients in need of a blood stem cell transplant with a second chance at life. DKMS-BMST is a joint venture of two reputed non-profit organisations: BMST (Bangalore Medical Services Trust) and DKMS, one of the largest international blood stem cell donor centres in the world.

Working Hours: 9:30am to 6:15pm
Position Summary
Responsible for creating and implementing a strategy for quality coordination and auditing as well as suggesting solutions to identified quality problems.Key person for the WMDA accreditation process.
Key Responsibilities
- Upkeep and maintenance of the WMDA accreditation process
- Develop and create QMS documents from time to time
- Annual revision of SOPs and Quality Manual
- Track the Quality Incidents and CAPA in the organization and follow-up on Corrective actions.
- Track SEARS and SPEARS incidents in the organization and report to WMDA and recommend Corrective actions
- Work closely with Quality Manager from Germany
- Participate in international Quality Management calls
- Knowledge of the local regulatory guidelines and WMDA guidelines
- Conduct training sessions related to Quality for the entire organization
- Upkeep of the Risk Management and Risk Assessment program in the organization
- Prepare yearly reports to be submitted to WMDA/ Anthony Nolan/ NMDP
- To be involved and oversee all projects dedicated to improving Quality
- Conducting audits internally / externally
Key Skills
- Experience in doing customer research with the purpose to assess their needs and wants
- Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards
- Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods
- Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office and other Office productivity tools
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- High degree of professionalism.

Qualifications:
- 5 plus years experience in Business Administrative role or in Quality Assurance Management, reporting directly to Senior management with Bachelors degree, preferably in a non-profit environment.
- Certification of quality control is a strong advantage.
