Job Description
:- Developing Mechanical Revit Template & Parametric Families For HVAC, Fire Fighting,
Plumbing (Drainage & water Supply).
- Excellent knowledge in Revit Linking, Work set, Interference Checking Project Browser,
Visibility Graphics, Filters, Shared Parameters, view range, Object Styles, Materials, annotation, Drafting View, Legend & Tags.
- Using Revit Preparation Schedule Quantities (BOQ) For MEP Services.
- Preparation of setting up levels, grids, views, browser arrangement, family arrangement, creating appropriate types and systems of services matching and project specifications.
- To prepare Hap Calculation and ventilation Calculation with input parameters.
- To prepare Chilled water drawings as per water flow.
- Preparing Builders work and as built drawings for Mechanical and Plumbing services.
- Co-ordinate with Civil, Structural, Foundation, False ceiling, Mechanical
- Services and Electrical services. Preparation of 3D Modeling & Shop Drawings for Electrical
Services such as Containment, Power and Lighting.
- Preparation of 3D Modeling & Shop Drawings for ELV Services such as ICT, CCTV, PAVA &
BMS Services.
- Prepare 3D rendering and Title block after completion of converting MEP 3D files to 2D CAD files drawing as per standards.
- Preparation of Electrical & LTA Room details.
- Co-ordination of MEP services using Revit and Navisworks.
- Modify the Revit Families.
- Create a Project Template & Work set
- Extract BOQ from the REVIT file.
- Selection of LV cables and Containments as per IEC, DEWA, KAHRAMAA Standards
- Study, review and analyses Electrical services IFC drawings & its systems and raise RFI if any Clarifications required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA):
- Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD
- Ability to create parametric families.
- Understand and work as per BIM Execution Plan/Project Standards.
- Effective communication in English.
- Excellent presentation skill
- Practical and Logical Thinking Ability
- Ability to create a drawing within given time
- Ability to remain patience and compassionate for challenges
- To stay calm under pressure and keep to deadlines
- Attention to details
- Flexible to work in any timeline
Education & Experience Requirement:
Minimum Graduate in Mechanical with minimum 2 years of work experience as BIM Modeller
Preferred Experience in Gulf or Western Country Project.
