Job Description
Deputy Manager - R&DExperience: 5 - 10 Years
Qualifications: M.Sc. - Chemistry (Organic)
Job Location -Bharuch
CTC: 9.00 12.00 LPA Industries - Fertilizers/Agrochemical/Pesticides
Note: Must have experience in Pesticide formulation.
Role & Responsibilities
Expansion of formulation lab and procure necessary equipment for developing new products.
Oversee the formulations of existing products including but not limiting to SL, EC, SC, WDG, and OD while developing successful new products and solutions for company to enable commercial growth and enhanced competitive advantage.
Lead NPD projects and develop formulations for the business unit. Hold self and the NPD Steering Team accountable for the proximity innovation pipeline projects in terms of quantity,
quality (impact and sustainability) and commercial success.
Provide technical leadership in understanding marketplace requirements, translating customer needs into a compelling technical product portfolio.
Identify raw material needs for prototype formulation development.
To designing efficient experiments and statistical techniques for data analysis.
Assist, consult and troubleshoot during process transfer scale up and validation activities.
Be familiar with latest technologies and successfully implements to improve lab instrumentation and lab processes.
Work effectively in a matrix environment with excellent relationship, networking, and collaboration skills.
Thrive on meeting challenges, insist on high quality deliverables, and show proven initiative in some categories of accomplishments, either individually or as part of a group.
Manage the formulation development budget with the ability to prioritize projects and optimize outcomes.
Collaborate with Product Evaluation and Marketing team to ensure a detailed set of trials are conducted to understand the attributes of existing and new formulations.
Manage and troubleshoot changes in formulations by understanding the potential ramifications caused by raw material and specification changes.
