Job Description

As a Kitchen Supervisor you will be responsible for: Assisting with the preparation and serving of all meals and beverages to customers. Ensuring that the kitchen and service areas are clean and tidy. Ensuring health and safety regulations are followed.

 

The duties of a kitchen supervisor may vary depending on the organization and industry, but generally, a kitchen supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a kitchen and ensuring that food is prepared and served to the highest standards. Some of the key duties of a kitchen supervisor may include: Planning menus and recipes Ordering and managing inventory of food and supplies Supervising and coordinating kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers Monitoring and maintaining kitchen equipment and facilities Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and food handling guidelines Managing food costs and maintaining budget goals Ensuring high quality and consistency of food preparation and presentation Collaborating with other departments, such as front-of-house staff and management, to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
