Job Description

Job Purpose:

The position is that of frontline sales personnel who would primarily be responsible for achieving targeted sales of the companys range of products in the assigned territory through identification, nurturing and management of projects, dealer network andstakeholders comprising of contractors & painters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales of Companys range of products in the assigned territory and achieve agreed target
  • Prepare detailed monthly and quarterly sales plans for the territory
  • Ensure payment collections as per company policy
  • Expand and manage project sales funnel either directly or through contractors or dealers
  • Enrol, nurture and incentivize Contractors either directly or through dealers
  • Expand dealer network and cultivate their clientele (contractors and painters)
  • Plan and organize product awareness meets and promotional activation for Dealers, Contractors and Painters; ensure effective implementation of promotional schemes
  • Coordinate with Depots / C&FAs for order fulfilment and timely material service
  • Prepare and share MIS Reports as required; track and report competition moves

  • New Contractor Activation Net Additions
  • Active Dealer Expansion Active Dealers per month & Addition

 

Role Requirements / Specifications:

Functional Competencies:

  • Product Knowledge, including application knowledge
  • Analytical Skills
  • Basic IT Proficiency (MS Office)

  • Communication Skills oral & written
  • Relationship building

Educational Qualifications:

  • Essential: Full time graduate degree (BSc (MPC), BCom, BBA) or Full time Diploma in Engineering
  • Preferred: MBA / PGDM in Sales and Marketing

Previous Experience:

  • Essential: 2 5 years experience (+ / - 1 year) in sales function in a similar / adjacent industry
  • Preferred: 2 3 years experience in the Paints industry
