Hired xEV Project Engineers @ Skyleaf Consultants

Job Description

Overview 

Keyword: Battery, Thermal Management, EV Powertrain simulation, E-Motor, System level and sub-system level simulation
* Good understanding of EV Batteries, Heat Transfer, and System simulation modeling
* To carry out thermal calculations and analysis, execute projects using relevant software packages
* Analysis result interpretation and design suggestion to meet the customer requirements
* Hands on experience of Battery Thermal management
* Develop aging models for batteries to predict battery pack degradation over various operating conditions
* Develop and correlate high-fidelity models for high/low voltage batteries for xEV
* Perform electrical performance simulations at module and pack level such as: capacity, discharge, energy efficiency, etc.
* Knowledge of xEV system functioning and its architecture
* System level analysis for thermal management and development of cooling strategy
* Knowledge on system physics and mathematical equations and converting them into 1D models
* Experienced in xEV powertrain simulation techniques and related software
* Understanding of Electric Motors, Motor Controls, EV Transmissions, Vehicle Controls and BMS.
* Design and Development of cooling system for Electrical vehicle
* Exposure to Thermal Management and Fluid Dynamics

Candidate Profile
* Masters or Bachelors degree in a relevant engineering area: Mechanical, Automotive, Electric/Electronics
* Understanding of automotive electrification performance and fundamentals for future and emerging powertrain technologies
* Ability to work in a dynamic environment where initiative and ownership is a must
* Expertise in modeling & simulation of EV & HEV related subsystems with MATLAB, Simulink, GT Suit etc.
* Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.
* Self-starter with the ability work with high level instruction, Open minded, flexible can do attitude
* Ability to communicate technical information effectively
