- The right candidate will have a good grounding and hands-on experience in WordPress Development and the ability to make meaningful contributions.
- You will be responsible for liaising with the design team, setting up WordPress sites, building modules and customizing plugins, testing the performance of each site, and maintaining security and feature updates after the installation is complete.
- You will be a good fit if you have contributed to WordPress or any Open-Source project. We recognize people with qualities of taking initiative and ownership!

Minimum education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with relevant experience.

Education/Experience
What you will be doing:
- Review Scope of Work and Change Orders for accuracy.
- Strong proficiency in software engineering principles, databases, and data modelling/design techniques; datainterface protocols; caching/performance improvements; software design patterns and integration patterns.
- Responsible for staying on top of industry standards.
- The developer should be responsible for the implementation of themes and plugins.
- The goal is to create attractive and user-friendly websites according to client specifications.
- Work includes coding, handling support requests, PHP unit testing, and project documentation.
What we are looking for:
Technical skills:
- 4+ years of total experience in WordPress Code, system integration, web application, or platformdevelopment.
- Demonstrated strong proficiency in WordPress Plugin Development and expertise in developing complexLAMP internet applications.
- Experience integrating with Rest API and GraphQL.
- Developing custom themes and plugins.
- Migrating websites from other platforms to WordPress.
- Integrating and setting up plugins like WPML, WP CLI, Gutenberg Block Development using React,WooCommerce, Membership, etc.
- Managing Caching using Redis / Memcached and Optimising page speed of WordPress site.
- Focused on coding quality and high development standards.
- Understanding of code version tools like Git, SSH, and Terminal.
- Add on advantage, if contributed to WordPress or any Open-Source project.
- Good to have experience working with Open Source, Elasticsearch / Apache Solr, Docker, and PHP Frameworks (Laravel / Symfony).
- Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
